Hank gives fishing advice based on conditions and general bass fishing knowledge. Use it as a guide, not a guarantee. Follow your local fishing regulations. We earn commissions on some product links. That's the gist — full details below.

These terms apply only to Nako.ai (this website) and the Hank web chat on it. They do not apply to other independent products or services.

By using Nako.ai, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

Nako.ai provides AI-generated fishing guidance through Hank, alongside content about lakes, techniques, and gear. Hank draws on public data (USGS, weather, solunar, fisheries research) and a curated knowledge base.

Hank's responses are informational. Fishing outcomes depend on many factors beyond any advice we provide — skill, weather changes, fish behavior, water conditions, and luck. We make no guarantee you will catch fish using Hank's suggestions, nor that the weather and water data shown on Nako.ai will be accurate at the time you fish — public data sources have delays, gaps, and occasional errors.

Fishing regulations — size limits, bag limits, seasonal closures, special waterbody rules, licensing — vary by state, county, and individual lake, and change regularly. You are solely responsible for knowing and following all applicable regulations. Always verify current rules with your state fish and wildlife agency before fishing. Hank may mention regulations as reminders, but it should never be relied on as a definitive legal source.

Fishing involves real risk — weather, water, boats, hooks, wildlife. You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of anyone with you. If Hank mentions weather or water safety concerns, treat it as a general reminder. Always check real-time conditions before going out.

When Hank recommends a product and you buy it through a link, we may earn a commission. Recommendations are based on what fits the conditions, not on commission rate. We also run nakoshop.com, where some of our own products are sold. Where relevant, that relationship is disclosed.

Nako.ai does not have user accounts. Hank remembers your conversation and preferences under a browser device-session identifier (device_id) stored in your browser. You may optionally provide a phone number; it is stored with your records, but it is not a verified login credential and cannot restore your data on another device. We may delete inactive records or limit access if we suspect abuse. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

You agree not to:

• Use Nako.ai to harass, harm, or deceive others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our knowledge base at scale
• Use Hank to generate content that violates laws or infringes on others' rights
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with us
• Abuse the chat API (rate limits apply; repeated abuse may result in blocking)

Nako.ai's content — page text, structure, Hank's persona, our compiled knowledge base, logos — is owned by Nako and protected by copyright. You may share individual pages with a link or short quote, but may not republish substantial portions without permission.

Nako.ai uses third-party services (Google Gemini and, when enabled by configuration, OpenAI; Supabase; Vercel; Open-Meteo; USGS Water Services; solunar.org; Nominatim) and may link to external sites (product retailers, state agencies, fishing resources). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites.

Nako.ai is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be available, error-free, or accurate at all times. AI-generated content and third-party data (weather, water-gauge readings, lake names) may contain mistakes — treat them accordingly.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nako and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, including but not limited to missed fish, wasted trips, or decisions made based on Hank's advice or the conditions shown on Nako.ai.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in U.S. courts with appropriate jurisdiction.
